Household Trash can be disposed of at the trash compactors located on Maintenance Road 6am – 8pm Monday through Friday and 6am – 10pm Saturday and Sunday. No bulk items and no construction debris may be disposed of in the compactors. ***HOUSEHOLD TRASH ONLY***
Recycling can be disposed of at the recycling bins on Maintenance Road Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. All recycling must be removed from plastic bags. Absolutely no plastic bags allowed in the recycling container.
The maintenance department accepts used motor oil to be recycled as shop heating fuel. Containers should be marked “used motor oil”, sealed and left on the compactor units. Maintenance will pick them up.
Brush and Leaves can be recycled in the natural recycling area behind the compactors by the salt shed. All leaves, grass clippings, brush etc. must be removed from plastic bags. Separate twigs, branches and brush from the leaves. ***Absolutely no plastic bags allowed in the recycling area.
Scrap Metal/Metals recycling may be disposed of to the right of the compactor area in the maintenance yard 8am -4:30 pm Monday-Friday.
Bulk Debris and Construction Debris may be disposed of during Lehman Township’s clean up days, please refer to the Township’s Facebook page for this year’s dates, or at the following public access dump:
